Wake Up! The Attack On Our Vote!

Wake Up! The Attack On Our Vote!

UniteWomen.org-bullhorn

I have spent the last week on Voter ID Legislation and Requirements for each and every state in this country and I have to say that tonight it is complete BUT I have such a horrible knot in the pit of my stomach. I researched & gathered all the information a while back and had not had the time to format it and organize it. Now that I have, I wish I could stand on top of the roof, scream at the entire country and tell them WAKE THE HELL UP!!!

Things are happening so fast in this country and around the globe that people barely have time to keep track of all the legislative attacks that are coming from every angle. I have been eyeball deep in legislation for months and months now & every day I think tomorrow will be better…it’s not getting better, it’s only getting worse.

How bad does it have to be for a group of NUNS to get on a bus and travel the country speaking out at protest rallies! How bad does it have to be for Marines to join together to march and protest! How bad does it have to be for students to take to the streets by the millions! How bad does it have to be for mothers, daughters, granddaughters, and grandmothers to take to the streets together! How bad does it have to get before the rest of you wake up!!!

WAKE UP! GET UP! and SHOW UP! Find out what is happening – STOP BUYING INTO THE LIES THAT MASS MEDIA & POLITICAL GROUPS ARE TELLING YOU – THINK FOR YOURSELF! FIND THE TRUTH! EDUCATE YOURSELF!

Watch Ethos for some answers to these questions. Available on Netflix. Easily digestable movie, presents answers in a historical context, you presented by Woody Harrelson in a “take it or leave it” fashion. At the end, you are given information on how you can make a change. Many of us feel very overwhelmed, unable to fathom these seemingly large powerful issues (e.g., Koch Bros). Movies like Ethos explain what the bottom line really is in our country, and how you can change it in your every day life.
